Matterhorn Private Helicopter Flight
While having to be rescued by their world-renowned Air Zermatt helicopter crew is not a situation you want to be in, a private flight to see the Matterhorn like never before is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Be sure to select the "Private" option when you book (unless, of course, you don't mind sharing the experience). Children welcome as of the age of 4.
Air Zermatt is a legendary Swiss aviation pioneer nestled in the heart of the Valais Alps, renowned worldwide for executing daring high-altitude mountain rescues, precision transport, and breathtaking sightseeing flights around the iconic Matterhorn. Be sure to plan your transportation accordingly. To reach Zermatt, you must drive or take the train to the neighboring car-free town of Täsch, as private cars are not permitted inside Zermatt village. From the Täsch terminal, you complete the final leg of the journey by taking the short, 12-minute Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn shuttle train or an authorized local taxi directly into Zermatt. Once you arrive at the Zermatt train station, you can reach the heliport at Spissstrasse 107 in one of two ways. On foot: a pleasant, flat 15-to-20-minute walk south from the station along the village's main street and down toward the southern end of town. Or by electric taxi: a quick, convenient ride in one of Zermatt's authorized local electric taxis directly from the station forecourt.
